What’s a Prose Poem?

A prose poem is above all, brief. It must be formatted in paragraphs, preferably one. This diminutive size is part of what makes them tick. The result? Strange little houses. A form that's about as open-ended as it gets. They can be surreal. They can be angry. They can be daggers cast at political oppressors. They can be really, really funny. They can be none of these things.

About prose poems: Online-only publication, at least for now. Submission information coming soon. Payment for authors TBD, and may be nothing, at the start.
